Which Day Is the Christian Sabbath?
By Herbert W. Armstrong
Does it make any difference WHICH day we observe—or whether we keep it? Does the Bible establish SUNDAY as the LORD’S DAY? Was the Sabbath given for the Jewish people only—while Christians are commanded to keep SUNDAY as the LORD’S DAY?

Remember the Sabbath
Did you ever stop to think why Christians keep Sunday? Did they get it from the Bible? Is there a clear-cut command that says, "Thou shalt keep Sunday?" Why did Jesus worship on Saturday? Was it only because He was a good Jew? Or does it go beyond that?

The Sabbath for the children of Israel -
The children of Israel (Gen.49:28, Ex.20:2) will keep the Sabbath throughout their generations AS A SIGN between God and ISRAEL for ever (Mal.4:4, Ex.31:16-17, Eze.20:12, Eze.20:20).
Israel will continue to walk in God’s judgments, and observe God’s statutes in the “new” earth (Eze.37:24).
To the church (1 Cor.10:32 below - Jesus’ living body, Col.1:24 below) JUDGE NOT as to the Sabbath days (Col.2:16-17).
In Christ Jesus, the church (1 Cor.10:32) are free indeed (Jn.8:36, Gal.5:1).
